The Vouching Diagnostic Engine

We turn people's real experiences into clear evidence, so you can make decisions with confidence.

The Vouching Diagnostic Engine is how we do it: an ongoing diagnostic relationship, not a one-off survey or a dashboard. Currently in pilot, first with schools.

What it feels like to use

No survey. No dashboard to configure.

You describe your situation in your own words: what's happening, what you've already tried, what worries you most. That's it.

In minutes, you get a small number of ranked next steps: the strongest move, the ones to avoid, and the ones worth testing first. Each one carries an honest confidence level, never a false guarantee.

A teacher describes a Sunday-afternoon task-design problem. A school leader describes a school-wide policy question. Both get an answer in the same plain language they used to ask it.

What you get

A clear next step, never a false promise

  • A small number of ranked next steps: not one prescriptive answer, and not an overwhelming list
  • An honest confidence level on each one
  • The evidence behind each recommendation, so it holds up if someone asks you to justify it
  • A growing picture over time: as you log what actually happened after acting, the evidence base grows and future recommendations sharpen

Built to work as an ongoing relationship, not a one-off report

How it works, if you want to see under the hood

Most people don't need this level of detail to trust the output. It's here for anyone who wants to interrogate the reasoning before committing.

The Engine structures what you tell it across six plain dimensions:

  • Context: the environment the issue is happening in
  • Stakeholders: who's affected, and who's reporting or interpreting the issue
  • Trigger: the underlying pressure or problem behind the decision
  • Intervention: the response being considered or already tried
  • Result: what changed, or is expected to change
  • Lived experience: how that result actually landed with the people involved

It compares your situation against a growing base of comparable cases, and separates what changed from how people actually felt about it, a distinction that matters, because a response can look successful on paper and still fail the people it was meant to help.

The Engine gathers and structures the evidence. It doesn't give advice. Marcus and the team review the output, interpret it against the specifics of your situation, and make the final recommendation.
Where the Engine is right now

Being honest about pilot status

The Vouching Diagnostic Engine is a new tool. We're piloting it with a founding cohort of schools before any wider release, testing not just whether it works, but whether it's genuinely useful enough for people to rely on. The evidence base grows, and gets sharper, with every engagement.

Built for schools first. Built to go further.

Proving the Engine, one market at a time

AI in Schools is where we're proving the Engine first. The same method works anywhere a decision depends on real, lived experience rather than hard data alone: we're already testing it in other settings too.

If you're a consultant or researcher looking to use the Engine across your own client work, we'd like to hear from you.
